September brought three things we are proud of: T3Planet Shop now runs inside your TYPO3 backend, our documentation moved to a new platform, and we published nine new guides. On top of that, our extensions shipped eleven releases, all listed in one table below with a link to each release page, so you can plan your updates with no surprises.
Three updates need a step from you first: Google Docs, Slider Revolution and AI Search. The notes in the release section tell you what to do.
Since 18 September you can try and buy our extensions without leaving your TYPO3 backend. In the T3Planet Shop module, formerly License Manager, you start a 30-day trial, buy a licence through the secure checkout on t3planet.shop and manage your domains yourself. The work stays where your team already is.
On 24 September our documentation moved to a new platform built on Mintlify, to serve our community and customers better. You search across every product from one field (Ctrl K), the navigation is sorted by product, and a new FAQ answers the most common questions. Links you saved still work: they forward to the new pages.
We also tidied up the content along the way:
- The AI Foundation pages describe installation with no licence key.
- System requirements for the AI extensions now read the same everywhere: TYPO3 12 to 14 and PHP 8.2 or newer.
- The licence module is called T3Planet Shop across 19 pages.
Between 9 and 19 September we published nine guides for agencies, editors and TYPO3 teams:
- EU AI Act for TYPO3: what site owners and agencies must do now
- AI content labelling in TYPO3: Article 50 in the editorial day
- Free AI extension for TYPO3: AI Foundation is open source
- TYPO3 AI Prompts Library: take control of every AI instruction
- AI Label integration: add AI content labelling to your own extension
- Own API key or AI Credits: handling AI costs in TYPO3
- T3Planet Shop: try and buy TYPO3 extensions in your backend
- Multi-LLM for TYPO3: using several AI providers
- GDPR check for AI chatbot and AI search

AI Universe and AI Foundation
The AI Universe extensions sit on top of AI Foundation and run in your existing TYPO3 12 to 14 with PHP 8.2 or newer. AI Accessibility now brings your site's status, page scans, fix tracking and the review of AI-drafted alt text into one backend module (release page). AI Assistant had two releases: the first adds AI and DeepL glossaries in one place and a mass translation queue you can re-run from the backend (release page), the second translates DCE (Dynamic Content Elements) and other FlexForm fields without the Map to TCA detour (release page). AI Search shortlists the likely passages first, so answers come back faster (release page).
Note: Before you update AI Search, check the dependencies listed on its release page.
AI Foundation is free and open source under GPL-2.0-or-later, with no licence key and no registration. Its MCP (Model Context Protocol) server now renders the Custom JSON URL with clearer 401 responses (release notes), and a follow-up release prevents excessive temporary image generation during frontend requests (release notes).
Extensions and templates
Four extensions and one template are ready for TYPO3 14 and PHP 8.4. Update with Composer, or without a terminal from T3Planet Shop in your TYPO3 backend; each release page walks you through both. Google Docs now imports a document straight from the Page module, filters Docs by owner and sets default image options (release page). Slider Revolution bundles WordPress 7.1 and Slider Revolution 7.1.8 with a stronger TYPO3 bridge (release page). Zoho CRM Integration runs on TYPO3 13 and 14, so your form leads keep flowing to Zoho CRM (release page). Personio runs on PHP 8.2 to 8.4 with no configuration changes (release page), and the dietitian template runs on PHP 8.4 as well; you will find it with all our themes in the TYPO3 templates overview.
Note: Google Docs 14.0.0 requires TYPO3 12.4 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer. After updating, apply the database changes under Admin Tools › Maintenance › Analyze Database Structure. On TYPO3 11 or older, keep your current version until TYPO3 is upgraded.
Note: Back up your code and database before you update to Slider Revolution 14.2.0.
