What does the TYPO3 Google Map Extension do?
It adds a customised Google map to your TYPO3 website, for example for contact pages, routes, restaurants or hospital areas. You can add unlimited pins with custom markers and descriptions, with full clustering and filtering support. Location pop-ups show the location, title, links and directions, and you choose the Google map type you prefer.
What is the difference between the free and the PRO version?
The page names directions and route as the premium map mode: it lets you zoom into directions, search, view and use Google Street View. For all other features, such as map access settings, pin options and cookie consent for Google Maps, the Free Vs Pro Features chart on this page shows which version includes each one.
Which map settings can I configure, and where?
Settings are available at constant and plugin level. You can set up a map theme, set the zoom level, show letters on location pins and set an icon image for pins. You can also display multiple location pins on one map and set a Google Map link for each location in the location list.
How many domains does a licence cover?
One licence covers one production domain, including its subdomains. Staging, development and local installs are free. For more sites, choose the licence for up to 3 or up to 10 domains. Details: Buying and Licences FAQ.
How do I install and update it?
Install it with Composer (the premium version comes from our private Composer server) and activate your licence key in System > T3Planet Shop. Updates arrive through Get Updates in the same module.
