How do I activate a purchased extension or template?

Activate your purchased extension or template in four steps:

  1. Install EXT:ns_license from the TYPO3 Extension Repository or with composer require nitsan/ns-license.
  2. In Admin Tools > Extensions, activate ns_license.
  3. Open System > T3Planet Shop, paste your key into License Key and click Activate License & Download Extension.
  4. In Admin Tools > Extensions, activate your product.

Can I install T3Planet products with Composer?

Yes. For a free extension, use the Composer command shown on its product page. For premium products, you get access to our private Composer server after purchase. Setup steps: installing with Composer.

Can I set up a product on a staging site first?

Yes, and we recommend it. Staging, development and local installs are free and do not count towards your domains. Configure everything on staging, then add your production domain in System > T3Planet Shop when you go live.

How do I update an extension or template?

We email you when a new version is released. You then update it in your TYPO3 backend:

  1. Take a backup of your TYPO3 site first.
  2. Open System > T3Planet Shop.
  3. Click Get Updates.
  4. On the product card, click Update to X.X.X.

Which TYPO3 versions do your products support?

As a rule, our products support the current and the previous TYPO3 LTS version. The exact TYPO3 and PHP versions differ per product, so check the version details on the product page or in the documentation before you install.

AI Foundation 2.x runs on TYPO3 13.4 and 14.3 with PHP 8.2 to 8.5; the 1.2.x line stays available for TYPO3 v12 with security and maintenance updates. Still on an older TYPO3 version? Older versions no longer receive security updates, so plan an upgrade with us: see Services.

Do your products work with extensions from other vendors?

Generally yes: T3Planet extensions work with third-party extensions from the TYPO3 Extension Repository. We cannot guarantee every combination, but if a conflict appears, our support team investigates it with you. Take a backup before you install anything new.

Which database do T3Planet templates need?

MySQL or MariaDB. Our templates do not support PostgreSQL or SQLite, because their automated setup of pages and content imports a database dump that we could not run reliably on PostgreSQL. Most of our customers use MySQL or MariaDB, so that is where we focus.

Where can I find the documentation?

Every product has installation, configuration and usage guides at docs.t3planet.de, also linked from each product page. The documentation is in English.

Can you install a product for me?

Yes. We install extensions for €49 each, and templates come with optional setup packages at checkout. Details under Services.
