T3Planet TYPO3 Product Release Highlights August 2025

The TYPO3 ecosystem continues to grow, with little breaks in August 2025 as steady updates are rolling out across the ecosystem in extensions, templates, and AI tools. This month, T3Planet has been focused on stability, TYPO3 v13 compatibility, accessibility, and AI enhancements. 

August brought forth many minor updates, but they were important nonetheless, such as the launch of new AI features in T3AI and T3AB, as well as performance improvements to popular extensions, including Social Login, Event, and Revolution Slider. 

This blog post will cover everything that was released in August 2025, new extension updates, bug fixes, feature updates, and TYPO3 blogs from T3Planet.

• T3AB (AI Builder) - The first TYPO3 AI extension builder to create custom extensions and content blocks with AI for you.
• T3AI v13.1.0 - Increased FlexForm translations and upgraded to GPT-4.1.

T3AI v13.2.0 – Prompt and Generation Enhancements

Release Date: 5 August 2025
Type: Feature update

• Prompt processing has been enhanced to deliver more accurate, contextualised results to editors.
• AI content generation is now more repeatable and situated in TYPO3 workflows.
• Performance improvements have been made to reduce delays when creating large pieces of content.
• Stability fixes for long-form content generation sessions. 

In this release of T3AI, the tool is now more dependable for daily use, especially for those editors who generate or revise content often.

T3AI v13.2.1 – Custom LLM Integration and Translation Fixes

Release Date: 6 August 2025
Type: Major feature and bug fix release

• Added support for connecting Custom LLMs, providing the option for agencies and enterprises to integrate their own AI systems in addition to the model they connect to by default.
• Fixed the TYPO3 translation typos or bugs with specific content positions (colPos) for a better experience when dealing with multilingual content in TYPO3.
• Fixed the anomaly in the backend, which generated an error when trying to create subpages from the context menu.
• Improved the translation management of complex TYPO3 setups. 

The objective of this release was to reflect T3AI's value for enterprise teams who needed to operate using private or customized AI models, while fixing some core translational issues

T3AI v13.2.2 – Custom Content Element Generation and Stability

Type: Feature and stability update

• Added the ability to generate new TYPO3 content elements (Pages, News, Blogs) using AI from the backend.
• This helps reduce the time spent establishing a standard structure by developers and editors.
• Fixed bugs with translating child languages during translation for multilingual sites.
• Fixed an error when creating new pages from the TYPO3 context menu.
• General improvements to the user interface and code stability for a smoother experience.

This update took T3AI a step further by not just generating text but also helping editors and developers build structured TYPO3 content with minimal effort.

T3AB v1.0.0 – Initial Release

• Official release of TYPO3 AI Builder.

• Composer-based installation to simplify setup.

T3AB v1.0.1 – Minor Improvements

• Updated application icon and labels for easy identification inside TYPO3 backend.

Key Changes in v13.1.0:

Migration to Content Blocks

• The Flexform base element has been migrated to TYPO3's new Content Block standard! This has imparted enhanced flexibility and scalability, and provided full TYPO3 v13 readiness
• Important notice: Please read the official Migration Guide for anything that could be missed during the upgrade plan.

Backward Compatibility Provided

• There will be no breaking change for your existing Flexform-based installs/methods; everything will continue to function.

Accessibility Improvements

• Better compliance with accessibility requirements, thus a better experience across devices and users.

SEO and Speed Improvements

• Improved load times and earlier search engine visibility resulting from structural improvements in the template code.

Bug Fixes and Quality Assurance Improvements

• All functional and UI/UX bugs found in QA testing are fixed, and demo pages and template items are more stable.

These updates, while smaller compared to T3AI and T3AB, ensure that TYPO3 websites remain stable, accessible, and future-ready.

Simultaneously, T3AI also continued to grow with three quick releases in one month. T3AI has gained the ability to produce more advanced content, have custom LLM support on a project basis, and see improvements in stability for multilingual TYPO3 projects.
