What does the TYPO3 FAQ Extension do?
It lets you add, customise and style frequently asked questions on your TYPO3 website from a backend module. You assign FAQs to categories and subcategories, show them as toggle or accordion, and control sorting and order. Search, moderation and form management settings are included, and a dedicated dashboard shows statistics and an FAQ summary.
Can visitors submit their own questions?
Yes. Site visitors can submit their questions with answers, and admins answer or moderate them from the backend. You add admin details for email notifications about new submissions, and you can enable or disable a captcha on the submission form. FAQ moderation works from the backend and by email.
Which styling and sharing options are available?
You can style questions, answers, categories and headings, including font colour, size, margin and padding, and set toggle symbols for FAQ and category icons. Block and border block themes are included. You can also configure FAQs on multiple pages, and when sharing is enabled, visitors can share questions and answers on the specified social media platform.
How many domains does a licence cover?
One licence covers one production domain, including its subdomains. Staging, development and local installs are free. For more sites, choose the licence for up to 3 or up to 10 domains. Details: Buying and Licences FAQ.
How do I install and update it?
Install it with Composer (the premium version comes from our private Composer server) and activate your licence key in System > T3Planet Shop. Updates arrive through Get Updates in the same module.
