TYPO3 Conference 2024 : Key Sessions and Expert Insights

As our team arrived at T3CON24, Day 1 began with one of the most anticipated topics of the year and the theme of Day 1 is Public Sector Day - TYPO3 for the Public Sector and Education. The session, presented by Daniel Fau, Frank Nägler, and Luisa Sofie Faßbender, set the tone for a day filled with valuable insights.

Our team had the privilege of attending the "Government Site Builder 11" panel at the TYPO3 Conference 2024, where experts and stakeholders explored the details of this transformative project. Hearing from prominent speakers like Silke Spielkamp, and Nikolai Jaklitsch, and representatives from BMI and ITZBund was an insightful and inspiring experience.

One of the hottest topics at the TYPO3 Conference 2024 was accessibility, with Claudio Zeni and Stefan Barac leading the conversation. Their session, AX - Accessible Xperience, provided a deep dive into the state of accessible websites on day 1.

A key takeaway from the session was the urgency of preparing for the European Accessibility Act, which will make accessibility mandatory across Europe by mid-2025. Claudio and Stefan explained the law's implications, focusing on how public and private websites will be required to meet accessibility standards.
