What does the TYPO3 Timeline extension do?
It lets you present stories, history, roadmaps and events as a timeline on your TYPO3 website. You choose from vertical and horizontal timeline styles and layouts, add animation effects such as fade-in, flip-up or zoom, and show images, YouTube or Vimeo videos and image slideshows inside the timeline. Colours, fonts and visibility are managed in an advanced settings panel.
Can the timeline show posts from TYPO3 News or Blog?
Yes. The extension supports the integration of the TYPO3 News and TYPO3 Blog extensions to display timeline posts. You can embed your blog posts in a timeline layout anywhere on the website, so content your team already publishes can appear in timeline form without being entered twice.
How does the timeline handle many entries?
If your timeline contains a lot of stories, you can add pagination or a load more button after a set number of stories. You can also show the timeline in ascending or descending order, according to your needs. This keeps long histories and roadmaps easy for visitors to read.
How many domains does a licence cover?
One licence covers one production domain, including its subdomains. Staging, development and local installs are free. For more sites, choose the licence for up to 3 or up to 10 domains. Details: Buying and Licences FAQ.
How do I install and update it?
